Capacity building and training

The Pillar 5 aims to :

• Build the capacity and training of people in partner countries in order to consolidate the sustainability of methods and activities as developed in the other pillars of the initiative and in the data platform.
• Award grants and scholarships to students and professionals to enable them to develop their skills in forest monitoring, carbon and biodiversity accounting and forest conservation.
• Facilitate the hosting or exchange of researchers between countries (North/South and South/South).
