Central African Forest Research Networks (R2FAC)

R2FAC is a network of institutions and independent researchers contributing to the "Management and sustainable development of forest resources" and "Research and Development" priorities of the Convergence Plan of the Central African Forest Commission (COMIFAC). It is active in the Congo Basin, federating research activities focused on the forests of Central Africa. It participates in regional scientific activities and raises the profile of Central African researchers. It organises training and capacity-building workshops for researchers and PhD students.

OFVi can thus strengthen the R2FAC network and support its efforts through joint objectives and a common area of intervention.
